Consider the following features while purchasing a dog bed.

• See if the top layer of bed is removable and is washable. If it is not washable, read the instructions on how to remove dirt from its surface, and how to clean its corners. Take an extra top sheet so that you can use it for bed, when the original sheet is washed.

• While online shopping for a dog bed, consider the area where you intend to keep your dog and its bed. Try to match the colors with walls, floor, and other furniture in the room. If you have got a separate dog house, then see what color can be better if you may move it to some other place in house.

• Look at your budget. Visit many online shopping portals and see if some discount is offered. Read public reviews for the kind of product that you select.

• If you have two or more dogs, see if each requires different bed. If not, ensure that the bed is spacious and large enough to accommodate two dogs.

• See that the bed size is fine. The dog should be able to lie down completely and should be able to change its side without hanging outside the bed.
